  • Displacements vary from 1096 to 1036 tons (1065 average).

  • Length, (p.p.) 265 feet (o.a. varies from 274 to 276 feet). Beam, 26.75 feet. Mean draught, 9 feet. Max. draughts, 11.5 to 12 feet.
  • Guns: 3-4 inch, 1-2 pdr. pom-pom; (1 M.G., but not in all). Torpedo tubes: 4-21. inch in pairs.
  • Machinery: Turbines: " all-geared " types. Clydebank, Denny, Fairfield, Harland & Wolff, Stephen, Swan Hunter and White boats, Brown-Curtis A.G. turbines; Doxford and Hawthorn Leslie boats, Parsons A.G. turbines: Beardmore boats as separately noted. Designed S.H.P. 27,000 - 36 kts. 2 screws in all. Boilers: 3 Yarrow or Modified Yarrow, except Sable by White, with White-Forster boilers. Oil fuel: 295-285,/250-243 tons.

General Notes: All Emergency War Programme boats. General design is as the "Admiralty M's", but these boat, have geared turbines and 2 screws, and are rather faster than the " Admiralty M's." >P>To distinguish: Note that the after 4 inch is mounted in a bandstand.
