  • Displacement, 3750 tons.
  • Complement, 323.
  • Length, (p.p.) 420, (o.a.) 446 feet. Beam, 41.5 feet. Draught, 16.25 feet max, 14' 10" mean.
  • Guns: 4 - 6 inch, 50 cal. (Dir. Con.); 1 - 4 inch AA. (Canterbury); 2 - 3 inch AA. (other ships) ; 2 - 2 pdr. pom-poms;
  • Torpedo tubes (21 inch); 6 above water (Canterbury); 4 above water (other ships)
  • Armour (H.T. and Harvey): 3" side (amidships); 2.25" - 1.5" Side (bow); 2.50" - 2" Side (aft); 1" Deck (amidships); 1" Deck over rudder; 6" C.T. (Removed from some). ; 4" Tube (Removed from some).
  • Machinery: Turbines, as Notes. 4 screws. Boilers: 8 Yarrow in all. Designed S.H.P. 40,000 = 28.5 kts.
  • Fuel: (oil only): normal, 420 tons; maximum, 841 tons.

Ahead: 1 - 6 in. ;   Broadside: 4 - 6 in. (2 or 3 - 21 in T.T. ?). ;    Astern 2 - 6 in.
