Full Sutton Manor
This photo was provided by Judi Island. "The MANOR House", or Full Sutton Villa or Hall, a little southeast of the village,(of Full Sutton, Yorkshire, England) is built of red brick, but is now covered with stucco. It is thought to be built about 1600 or earlier, the title deeds date from 1811. The fishpond and moats around the Manor can still be seen. John Ramsey, Esq. of Elvington, (1737-1801) was Lord of Full Sutton Manor in 1700's. He was my great x6 grandfather. His daughter Dorothy married Rev. E. Garwood who lived at the Manor, from that time on it was in the possession of the Garwoods." (All Johnson ancestors)

southfield dedham southfields dedham
These are pictures of an existing homestead called "SOUTHFIELDS" in Dedham England which our Sherman ancestors owned. It was built sometime in the 1400s and is being restored today. Edmund Sherman (1520/4 -1610) was a great x 13 grandfather and he and his family were in the clothier business, that is they made fine woolen fabric.

Below find ST. EWES Church, Cornwall, England.
Daniel Burnett and his wife Grace Mitchel (Hall-Ward database) are buried here in 1851. Here is some of the church history. The parish church is located in OS Grid Square SW9746 and was dedicated to St Ewe (or Eustacchius). Nothing is known about this saint except that she was believed to be female. An early church was here in Norman times, and the Normans rebuilt the church on its present site in 1120. It comprises a chancel, nave, south aisle, and north transept. The south aisle was rebuilt in 1767. The arcade has six obtuse arches. On the north side of the church, and adjoining the chancel, is a vestry. There are north and south porches and a priest's door. The tower is of two stages, buttressed at angles, and surmounted with a spire. The tower is of 72 feet in height, and contains three bells; it is reputed to be the smallest in the country. The ecclesiastical parish is now linked to Mevagissey.

About Us

Franzen Masonry

Frank is a stonemason and works with his brother Peter. They have been building fireplaces for more years than I'd like to mention. They learned their trade from their father, who was a master brick layer in Germany. I help out with the phones and books.
I am a x-RN and have been taking my BA by correspondence. I have been keenly interested in genealogy for five years, and my mother and grandmother kept records. I gathered most of the other information from relations and primary and secondary sources. The internet has been a great asset in research and I have found people who are interested in genealogy to be very helpful.
