Hattie O. McCasland Calton

     Mrs. Hattie Ople Calton, 80, Rte. 1, Russellville, died Tuesday,
Aug. 4, 1981.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday)
at the High Point Baptist Church.
     She was born Jan. 19, 1901, in Camden County to Andrew Jackson and
Rosie Andeline Cantrell McCasland.  She was married to John Edward
Calton, who died May 4, 1973.
     Mrs. Calton spent all of her life in mid-Missouri.
     Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Elsie Tryon, Mrs. Broox
Sullens, Mrs. Anna Wells, and Mrs. Alice Calton, all of Eldon, Mrs. Rose
Mary Howser, Rocky Mount, and Mrs. Eunice Castell, Waynesville; six sons,
Aubrey Calton and John Calton, both of Versailles, Jim Calton, Roy Calton
and Lonnie Calton all of Russellville, an dBen Calton, Olean; two
sisters, Mrs. Ada Calton, Barnett, and Mrs. Jessie Coons, Latham; two
brothers, Frank McCasland, Gravois Mills and John McCasland, Latham and
25 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
     Burial will be in rockdale Cemetery near Hurricane Deck in Camden
County under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home.
