Williams John C.
     John C. Williams died Sept 2, 1940 at hte home of this brother, Dan Williams of Barnett.  .  He was born Jan 6, 1864 the son of Joseph and Lillian Williams.  He married Jane Hicks Nov 11, 1902.  She passed away some yers later and on June 26, 1917, he was united in marriage to Phoebe Pennington, who is also deceased.  He is survived by a duaghter: Bertha who lives in Michigan; 2 brothers: Joe of Gravois Mills and Dan Williams of Barnett and 1 grandchild.  The funeral was held in the Big Rock Church wht the Rev. L.V. Webb officiating.  Interment in the church cemetery. (he had one daughter: Bertha; one grandchild: Juanita).
