Webster, William Wattson
     William Wattson Webster, 83, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Merle Silvey, in Versilles on June 5, 1955.  He was the son of the late John W. and Aline Ann Webster, a pioneer family of the Gravois Mills community, born November 1, 1872.  He was the third oldest child in a family of 14 children.  August 10, 1897 he was married to Alice Connor, they were the parents of 1 daughter, Vera Olive, who preceded him in death in 1954.  Mrs. Webster died in 1953.  Granddaughter: Mrs. Donald (Lu Alice) Crowson and a great-granddaughter: Sally Crowson of Denver Colorado; 2 brothers Emanuel Webster of Butte Montana and Clyde Webster of Boonville; 2 sisters: Mrs. Merle Silvey and Mrs Lottie Washburn of Versailles.  The funeral was held at Kidwell Funeral Home with the Rev. E.D. Watkins Jr. officiating.  Burial was in the Versailles cemetery.
