Stevenson, Mrs. William R.  (Roe, Mary Jane)
Mary Jane Stevenson died Nov, 15 ____ at her home after a weeks bout of influenza.  She was born near Versailles March 2, 1885 the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Roe.  She was reared at old Bagnell in Miller county by the maternal grandparents as her mother died when she was 2 years old.  She was married to William R. Stevenson May 20, 1908 in Jefferson City Mo.  Since her husband's death in 1943, Mrs Stevenson has lived with her daughter: Mrs. Dencil H. Smith.  She is survivied by 4 children: Theodore Stevenson of Kansas City, Shirley T. and Aaron B. Stevenson of Albequerque New Mexico and Mrs Dennis smith.  4 step-children: Mrs. Fern Campbell of Gravois Mills; Latham Stevenson of Vivian La, Mrs Jerry Antcotter of El Paso Texas and Mrs Herfold of Chicago; a half sister, Mrs. Ellen Hollenbeck of Kansas City; 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  A son Charles H. Stevenson died in 1941.
