Smith, John W.
John W. Smith, son of the late George Washington and Eliza Jane LeFever Smith, was born in Windsor Missouri on June 19, 1895, died August 29, 1956 at Fulton Missouri.  In 1919 he was united in marriage with Miss Rosa Scott.  4 children: Johnnie Elmo Smith of Kansas City Kansas; Mrs. Charles (Martha) Jefferies of Eldon Missouri; Mrs Kenneth (Nellie) Barber and Mrs. Ernest Holloway (Pearl Marie) of Kansas City Kansas.  He also leaves 2 brothers: Cecil Smith of California Missouri and Orville Smith of Kansas City; 12 grandchildren and his step-father: El Cantrell ofVersailles.  He was preceded in death by his wife 26 years ago  He spent the greater part of his life in Morgan county.  Funeral services Septerber1, 1956 at Kidwell Funeral Home with the Rev. Nelson Sachs officiating. Interment in the Union Cemetery.
