Silvey, Willard Marion
Willard Marion Silvey, 79, son of Jim and Prudence Silvey born at Gravois Mills August 14, 1878, died October 19, 1957.  On March 3, 1901 he was united in mariage with Miss Bertha Colvin and had 3 sons, one of which died in infancy.  He was also preceded in death by a foster son: Joe Lamm.  He is survived by his wife, Bertha; 2 sons: Russel and Orville of Kansas City; 4 sister: Mrs. John Chipley of Versailles, Mrs. Georgia Malone of Seattle Washington, Mrs. Maggie Hall of Sidney Iowa and Mrs. Desta Purvis of Tulsa Oklahoma;  4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.  4 sisters preceded him in death: Mrs Sam Finley, Mrs. George meyer, Mrs. Ben Wilson and Mrs. Charles Decker.  One brother and one sister also died in infancy.
   Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in the Versailles cemetery under the direction of Kidwell Funeral Home.
