Silvey, James Marion 
James Marion Silvey, 73, died Sunday, December 13, 1953.  James Marion Silvey, son of Charles G. & Martha Foster Silvey was born February 13, 1880 near Gravois Mills, Mo.  On September 28, 1910 he married Minnie Belle Holst.  They had three daughters,  Ferrel and Berthena died in infancy.  He is survived by his wife, one daughter: Mrs. Vincent (Vera Moree) Staudenraus; one granddaughter: Marlene Merle Staudenraus; three sisters: Mrs. Jennie Hibdon, Gravois Mills; Mrs. Maggie Morris, Versailles; and Mrs. Grace Hild, Quincy, Ill.  He also leaves several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services were held at the Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. William Keturakat officiating.  Pall bearers were: Kenneth Offineer, Charley G. Hibdon, G.F. Whitrock, Donald Marriott, Clyde Holst and Paul H. Webb. Flowers: Mrs. Clyde Holst, Mrs. Kenneth Offiner, Mrs. Charley Hibdon, Mrs. Roy Holst, Mrs. Cleo Geiger and Mrs. Clarence Cable.  Hymns: Mrs. Glenn Stokes and Mrs. J.C. Beach.   Burial was in the Versailles cemetery under the direction of Kidwell Funeral home.
