Silvey, Mrs. C.A.  (James, Ardella)
     Mother of Mrs. K. P. Hunter, sister of Oliver James, both of Versailles died at home, June 3, 1950 at age 78.  Ardella James was born in Morgan county Mo Sept 15, 1872.  In 1889 she was united in marriage with Calvin A. Silvey.  Of this union were born nine children, three of which died in infancy.  One son Clarence died in 1941.  Survived by daughter: Mrs Hunter; foru sons: George R. Silvey, Bloom Prairie Minn., aubrey M. Silvey, Gawson Minn.,Ray Silvey, Los Angeles Calif., and O.V. Silvey, Kansas City Kans.; one sister: Mrs. Joe Rifle, Barnett; one brother: Oliver James, Versailles. 18 grandchildren; 11 tgreat grandchildren.  Officiating was Dr. Alex Best, interment in the Versailles cemetery. Services handled by Kidwell's.
