Hess, Mrs. Everett (Sidebottom, Nellie B.)
   Mrs. Nellie B. (Sidebottom) Hess was born Aug 4, 1896 and died Nov, 16, 1952.  She was the daughter of Peter M. and the late Jennie Sidebottom.  On July 12, 1912 she married Everett Hess and had 7 children, 2 of whom preceded her in death.  They were Anabelle and Herman L.  Surviving are her husband, 5 children: Raymond D. Hess; Mrs Frank Mayes; Bill E. Hess; Donald L. Hess and Ruth E. Hess, all of Versailles; her father: Peter M. Sidebottom; 3 sisters: Delia Turpin of Versailles; Elpha Robertson of Ava, Mo. and Edna McKinney of Eldon, Mo.; 3 brothers: Dalton Sidebottom of Gunn City Mo; Bert Sidebottom of Stover and Hardie Sidebottom of Independence, Mo.; 2 daughters-in-law: Mrs. Bill Hess and Mrs. Donald Hess, both of Versailles; one son-in-law: Frank Mayes of Versailles; and six grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held in the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Nelson Sachs officiating. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Sachs and Mrs. Archie Garrison with Mrs. Charles E. Bennett acompaning.  Pallbearers were: Archie Garrison, Pete Whitten, Roy Wilson, Jess Hayes, Boyd McGinnis and N.D. Hunter.  Flower girls were: Nora Mae Welpman, Gertrude Frisbie, Thelma Wilson, Naomi Wilson, Peggy Hayes, Pauline Morrison and 4 grandchildren: Shirley and Lois Neyes; Joyce and Donna Hess. Interment in the Versailles cemetery.  Funeral services directed by Kidwell's.
