Shofner, John
Shofner was born Feb 10, 1890 in Saline county, Mo. He was a farmer and a foxhunter. spending the greater part of his life in Morgan county.  He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Louella Taylor; a daughter: Mrs. Roy McGinnis of Versailles; 2 sisters Mrs Snouely of Sedalia nd Mrs Waddell of Nelson, MO; 3 grandchildren who lived in the Shofner home.  Pall bearers: Fred Hackler, Orsino Vogt, Virgil Grace, Clyde Downing, Dorsey Colvin and George Petty. Funeral services were conducted by L.V. Webb under the direction of Kidwell Funeral Home.
