Sumner, Mrs. Joel (Rutherford)
Annie Mrs. Annie Rutherford Sumner, widow of the late Joel Sumner was born in Morgan county on July 31, 1863 and died July 9, ____.  She was the daughter of the late James and Nancy Simms Rutherford.  Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. L.E. Johnson officiating and interment was in the Versailles cemetery by the side of her husband. (Mrs Sumners was an aunt of Royce Moser of Versailles and Mrs. L.L. Barber orf Kansas City)
