Price, Mrs. William Edward (Black, Bessie)
     Mrs. Bessie Price, widow of the late William Edward Price of the Marvin and Versailles communtiy died in Kansas City August 31, 1956.  Bessie Pearl Black, born April 9, 1896, daughter of Amos C. and Sarah Frances Black.  The family moved to the Marvin community and it was there she met and married William Edward Price on August 22, 1915. She is survived by 10 children: Jack Price of Tiptin, Robert Price of Minniapolis Minnesota, Ned Price of Kansas City, Mrs. Donald Moon of Fortuna, Mrs. Carl Brackett of Reno Nevada, Mrs. Leroy Adams of Waterloo Iowa, Mrs. Sydney Ayres and the Missis Eudene, Ruth and Pauline Price of Kansas city.  She also leaves 2 sisters: Mrs John Smith, Peoria Illinois and Mrs. Charlie Markum, Warrensburgn Missouri; 3 brothers: Tommie Black, Brownie Black and Gaylon Black all of Warrensburg; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dencil Albin of Boonville officiating. Inerment was in the Beulah cemetery under the direction of Kidwell Funeral Home.
