     Mrs. Harriet Nailing died October 18, 1950.  She was born in Moniteau county on Aug 5, 1869, a duaghter of Anthony and Evelyn Williams.  Her first husband was the late J.H. Newman. They lived on a farm near Glenstead.   She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.  She leaves an adopted daughter: Miss Sally Newman of Versailles; eight neices; six nephews.  Funeral services by the Rev. L.D. Hardeman of Sedalia, assisted by A. H. Smith of Warrensburg and Rev. Shelby Burris of Versailles were held in the Negro Baptist Church.  Pallbearers were: Walter Ross, Robert Burris, Lawyer Burris, Herschel Chism, Truman Chism and William Redman.
