Marriott, Mrs. James (Kirby, Mabel C.)
   Mrs. Mabel C. Marriott, wife of James Marriott, died at the home in the Ritchie neighborhood on August 21, 1960.  Funeral services held at the Ritchie church with internment in the  Ritchie cemetery. Rev. L.V. Webb officiating.
   Mrs Marriott was the daughter of Joel L. and Kate Kirby, born in Morgan county Nov. 21, 1876.  She was first married to Jarrot Naylor. 4 sons Joe Walter and Jewell Naylor all fo Versailles Homer of St Joseph MO, a duaghter Ruth, who was married to Alex Lee, who preceded her in death.  She leaves her husband, of the home, James Marriott and one sister, Mrs. Charles Marriott of Sedalia.  Pall Bearers were Charles and Milburn Marriott, Cecil Marriott, Luther and Edgar Huff and Elwood Marriott.
