Jacobs, Alex 
   Alex Jacobs, 72, died from a heart attack in a local cafe.  Son of the late Henry and Mary Leudecke Jacobs, born in Versaillles January 6, 1884 and died May 10, 1956.  For years he was associated with his father Henry Jacobs who was a pioneer wagon and carriage maker and blacksmith.  He is survived by 1 brother: Louis Jacobs of St Louis; 4 sisters: Mrs. Emma Allen Colorado Springs Colorado, Mrs Louise Chenault, Baton Rouge Louisana, Mrs. Alvin Alvear and Miss Henrietta Jacobs both of New York City.
   Funeral services were held at Kidwell Funeral Home Sunday May 12, 1956 with the Rev. O.L. Thompson officiating.  Interment was in the Versailles cemetery.
