William Dorsey Holst, 64, died May 23,
1979 at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. He was born July
3, 1909 in Camden county, son of the late Nicholas Jay & Ida Belle
Scott Holst. He was married May 28, 1944, to Janet Dav is who survives.
He was retired from the former Kidwell-Wilbert Burial Vault company in
Versailles and was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Versailles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons: William Dorsey Holst
of Kansas City and David Jay Holst of Versailles; 3 daughters: Mrs. Kay
Sherwood of Halby Colorado, Mrs. Janet Ruth Looten of Eugene and Mrs. Sue
Holst of Boonville' 1 brother: E.V. Holst. of Barah Iraq; 1 grandchild.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Ralph and one sister: Ruth.
Funeral services at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Rollans
Northerhn. Organ, Mrs. Marlene Williams. Pallbearers: Rufus Harms, Lumas
Gehrs, Walter Ehlers, Vincent Staudenraus., Bert Ranum and Ray Lange.
Interment at the Versailles cemetery under the direction of Kidwell Funeral
