Holst, Mrs. Ross (Forseter)
   Mrs. Ross Holst, 75, died Oct 11, 1951.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Forester. She was born in Morgan county April 3, 1876.  In 1905 she married Ross Holst and to that union was born one son, Nicholas Forster Holst, Chief Storekeeper, US Navy, San Diego, Calif.  She leaves her husband, son, 2 sisters: Mrs Ella McCoy of Bolivar Mo and Mrs. Mattie Kidwell of Kansas City Mo; 1 brother: Leslie Forester of Versailles; an adopted son: Harry McMullen of Kansas City and one adopted daughter:Mrs. Carl Widowski of Barnett. She was preceded in death by one sister: Mrs. David Kidwell (mother of W.F. Kidwell of Versailles) and 2 brothers Edward and Emmet Forester; 12 grandchildren.  She taught school from 1897 until 1906 in Morgan county.  She was a member of the Versailles Methodist Church.
   The funeral was held under the direction of Kidwell's of Versailles, Rev. Lyman Firestone officiating with internment in the Versailles cemetery.  Hyms were sung by Mrs. Gene Bartram and Mrs. Joe Kimbell accompaniment by Mrs. Walta Franse.
