Harley Emmett Holst, 88, formerly of the Gravois community died at Keller Hospital at Fayette on December 13, 1973.  He was born October 17, 1885, near Gravois Mills, the son of Henry L and Margaret Caltnar Holst.  He moved from his farm in the lake area in 1930 to Howard county in the Glasgow community.  Surviving are 9 sons; 4 daughters; 50 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; a sister: Mrs. Cetta Williams of Gravois Mills.  a daughter: Naomi, died at the age of 12 years.
   Funeral services were held at the Friemouth Funeral Home in Glasgow on December 15.  Burial was in the Glasgow cemetery.
