Clyde Holst, 68, Route 4 died January 15, 1978 Sunday at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia.  He was born October 3, 1909 at Versailles, son of the late Frank and Helen "Bea" Newton Holst. On February 5, 1930 he married Opal Schnekenberg, who died July 17, 1971.  He then married Allie Rowe on May 4 1972 who survives of the home.  Mr. Holst worked for the REA Electirc co-op here from 1946 to 1974.  He was a member of the Mount Hulda Lutheran Church south of Cole Camp.  Other survivors include a step-daughter: Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Lutgen of Kansas City; 2 brothers: Harry Holst of Fenton Missouri and Delmar Holst of St. Louis; a sister: Mrs. Edwin (Frances) Rehmer of Cole Camp. 3 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren.
