Marion M. Hibdon, a former resident of Morgan county died suddenly on Tuesday, March 27, 1951 at his home in Durant Olkahoma.  He was born in Camden county Missouri on February 8, 1882.  In 1903 he married Mary Jane Scott and they had 6 children.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 sons 1 daughter, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.  In 1923 he was united in marriage to Edna Mae Rush in Sherman Texas.  He is survived by his wife, 2 sons: Ivy Hibdon of St. Louis and Herbert Hibdon of Madeira California; a daughter: Mrs. Mrytle Sidebottom o Kansas City; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters: Mrs. Ellen Garrison, Mrs. Lillie Garrison and Mrs. Jodie Crabtree all of Versailles and Mrs. Jane Walters of Gravois Mills.
   Funeral services and interment in Pleasant Hill cemetery by the side of his daughter . Pallbearers were: nephews and grandsons: Harvey Sidebottom, Lester Sidebottom,  John Hayes, George Hayes, Brady Hayes, Jeff Hayes, Travis Wilborn and Richard Parkson.
