John Clinton Hibdon, 82, retired Gravois farmer, died Friday, April 14, 1961 at the home of a daughter: Mrs. Frank Terry of Clinton.  He was born in Morgan county on April 20, 1879, son of late P.E. and Mary McFarland Hibdon.  In 1903 he was married to Edna Ross Bond, who preceded him in death in 1954.  Surviving are 1 son: Guido Hibdon of Gravois Mills; 2 daughters: Mrs. Frank (Ethel) Terry of Clinton, Mrs. Morris (Jane) Betchel of Boonville; 1 brother: Billy Hibdon of Gravois Mills; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by 1 son: Charles Leo Hibdon.
   Services were held at the Kidwell Funeral Home with the Rev. P.H. Wilbanks officiating. Burial in the Versailles cemetery.
