Iannah Hibdon Lee was born December 2, 1897 and passed away October 14, 1940 at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 12 days.  She was the daughter of the late Thomas M. and Martha Philips Hibdon.  On February 21, 1900 she was married to John Alexander Lee.  They had 7 children.  Those surviving are:  her husband, and the following children:  Mrs. Effie Haggerman of Frankford Missouri, Raymond Lee and Mrs Corrine Bowden of Eldon, Ralph Lee and Mrs. Pauline Turpin of Barnett.  Two infants preceded her in death.  She leaves 6 grandchildren, namely:  Maxine and Claude Allen, who have made their home with her for the past 6 years,  Louise, Erma Jean, Marjorie and John Edward Lee; 2 sisters: Mrs. Jerusha Wahle and Mrs. Viney Kennedy of Eldon; 1 brother:  J.E. Hibdon of Harrison Arkansas.
     Funeral services were held in the Versailles Assembly of Goc Church with the Rev. Herman Foley of Eldon officiating.  Interment is in the Holst cemetery.
