Harry Lionel Hibdon, 78, formerly of Kansas City Missouri was born in Morgan county on December 29, 1899, a son of the late William and Maggie Jenkins Hibdon. and passed away at the Golden Age Nursing Hime in Stover, where he had been a resident since 1973 on Wednesday, January 5, 1977.  He was married to Miss Opal Robinett on November 18, 1919 in Kansas City who preceded him in death on april 2, 1967.
   Mr. Hibdon was a member of the Kansas City police force for a number of years. later was employed in the security division of General Motors in Kansas City and retired in 1963.  He is survived by one sister: Mrs. Thomas (Berniece) Pierce of Lake Ozark.  He was also preceded in death by one son Harry B. Hibdon in 1973.
   Funeral services were at Scrivner Chapel with the Rev. George Scott officiating. Merrill Womack sang. Pallbearers were cousins. Interment in the Versailles cemetery.
