Cornie Monroe Hibdon, son of Peter & Mary McFarland Hibdon was born on January 20, 1877 near Gravois Mills and passed away on December 31, 1959, at the home of his daughter: Mrs. Willie Coontz.  He was married to Jennie Josephine Silvey on November 14, 1899 who preceded him in death on May 12, 1956.  Surviving are: 1 daughter: Mrs. Edna Coontz of Gravois Mills; 1 son: Lloyd Hibdon of Hickman Mills; 2 brothers: Johnnie and Billy Hibdon of Gravois Mills; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  One grandchild, Darrel Hibdon was raised in the home of his grandfather.  One son, Charley Hibdon, passed away on September 24, 1959 and a daughter Purnia died in infancy.  He was a member of the Baptist Church of Gravois Mills
   Funeral services at Kidwell Funeral Home with the Rev. James Delong officiating. Hymns by Mrs. Gene Bartram accompanied by Mrs. Arthur Eickhoff. Interment at the Silvey cemetery.
