Shirrell J. Hays, son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Till Hays died in Peoora Illinois of injuries suffered in a tractor accident several weeks ago. Shirrell was born near Versailles, August 15, 1911 and employed by Versailles Special road District as an operator of heavy equipment.  He is survived by 2 sistersL Mrs. Charles Stephens and Mrs Lloyd carter, both of Tipton.
   Funeral services were held at the Versailles Methodist Church with the Rev. E.T. Rainey officiating. Interment in the Versailles cemetery under the direction of Kidwell Funeral Home.
