Robert W Hafer, 61 died in 1945.  Mr. Hafer was born in Adams county, Ohio September 11, 1884, but had lived inside Morgan county.  He married Alma Foster in Cambridge Nebraska in 1910.  Besides his wife he is survived by a son: Earl Hafer of San Diego California; 4 daughters: Mrs. Ira Ensminger and Miss Hazel Hofer of Versailles; a brother: Bryan Hafer of Scottsville Ohio; 6 sisters: Mrs. Cora Booth of Tulsa Oklahoma, Mrs. Millie Knauff of Blue Creek Ohio,  Mrs. Bessie Garner, Mrs. Alma Shively and Mrs. Edna Richs of Scitorville Ohio and Mrs. Opal Walmsley of Winchester Ohio. A daughter: Helen, died in childhood.
   Services held at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. W.L. Bright officiating. Music by Mrs. Edward Breed of Chillicothe, Miss Gwendolyn Gee, Bert Francis and L.E. DeVinna with Mrs. William Arnold Jr. as a pianist.  Burial was in the Versailles cemetery with Robbie Robinson, E.H. Jeffries, Noble Wilson, K.A. Goodman, Russell P. Hall and Elzie Marriott as Pall Bearers.
