Mrs. Alma Hafer died June 4, 1951, the widow of the late Robert W. Hafer.  She was born in Odell  county, Nebraska on April 16, 1885 and Married Robert W. Hafer on January 10, 1910 and had 6 children.  One daughter died as an infant.  Surviving are: 5 children: Mrs. Glen (Revah) Stokes of Versailles, Mrs. Elmo (Hazel)  Ward of Versailles, Mrs Jack (Esther Elllen) Ensminger of Versailles,  Mrs. Emily Holden of Mt. View, and Earl Hafer of San Diego California.  She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and one brother.
   The funeral was held at the Versailles Christian Church with the Rev. J.L. Freeman officiating.  Hymns: Bert Francis, Edgar Hodges, Mrs. Gwendolyn Blankenship and Mrs. Robert Stockton, accompanied at the piano by Miss Beth Francis.  Pallbearers: Benton and Shelton Ball, Herbie Landrum, Noble Wilson, Jim McLennan and Ernest Shepp.  Burial in the Versailles cemetery under the direction of Kidwell Funeral Home.
