Gunn, Halcyon Decator (Dick)
Mayor Dick Gunn, son of Ephriam F. and Sallie Ann Madole
Gunn, born on a farm 8 miles east of Versailles on April 28, 1877 where
he lived for 74 years. On October 7, 1900 he married Miss Daisy June
at the home of her uncle, Chrles Goodman, in Barnett. 12 children.
Mr. Gunn is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Flossie
Elliott, Mrs Fannie Templeton, Mrs. Maud Hoag, Mrs. Nancy Satter, Mrs.
Ethel Kelsay, Clifford, Charles, Paul, Rex and Roscoe Gunn. Glen
died in 1915 and Robert in 1943. The grandchildren are: Mrs. Hazell
Bischoff, Gary Gunn, Ann Templeton, Bill and Mary Lou Gunn, Jimmie
Gunn, David and Jill Delsay, Robert and Richard Satter, Ralph and Lynne
Gunn, Tommy and Darrell Gunn. He also leaves one great grandson:
Edward Bischoff Jr. He was preceded in death by 5 grandsons: John
Satter and Richard Gunn, Elliott and 3 in infancy. He is also survived
by one brother, Henry Gunn; one sister-in-law: Mrs Asa Gunn; one dau-in-law:
Mrs. Marion Yows Gunn. Pallbearers were: Fred Hackler, George Bradshaw,
Richard Madole, Ernest Johnson, Sam Elliott and Judge Herman Nolting.
