SERVICES FOR MRS. DELL GARRISON
Funeral services for Mrs. Dell Garrison, wife of John Garrison, who
died at the home here
Wednesday morning, June 30, after a long illness, were held from the
Versailles Assembly
of God Church Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. W. N. Sachs
officiated.
Interment was in the family lot in the Versailles cemetery under the
direction of Kidwells.
Lillie Dell Hibdon was born in Camden county, Missouri, October 27,
1879, the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. George Hibdon.
On March 26, 1898, she was united in marriage with John Garrison and
to this union
seven children were born. Mrs. Garrison was preceded in death by three
children, four
sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Franklin
Bias of
Versailles and Mrs. T. A. Brown of Barnett, two sons Archie of Versailles
and George of
Kansas City; three sisters, Mrs. Joda Crabtree, Camden County, Mrs.
Jim Walters,
Versailles and Mrs. Jay Garrison, Versailles: three sons-in-law; one
daughter-in-law;
twenty one grandchildren, and eighteen great- grandchildren.
She professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of the
Versailles Assembly
of God church. She attended services regularly so long as her health
would permit.
