Delong, Mrs Joseph (Silvey, Sarah Adaline)
Mrs. Sarah Delong died at her home Nov 3, 1952.  She was born Sarah Adaline Silvey daughter of John and Jane Silvey on Jan 6, 1878.  In 1898 she married James V. Brown and of this union 4 children were born.  4 children and her husband preceded her in death.  In 1929 she married Joseph Delong, who also preceded her in death.  She is survived by 1 daughter: Gussie, now Mrs Clarence Coonce, Creighton Mo; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Mrs Oliver James, Versaillesand Mrs. Zula Affiner, Franklin Mo; 3 brothers: Joe Silvey, Gravois Mills; Clyde and Earnest Silvey, Parville, Mo; 2 son-in-laws: Clarence Coonce of Creighton, Mo and Al Fletcher.  Mr Fletcher had made his home wht Mrs DeLong since the death of his wife Bessie.
   She was a member of the Holst Church.  Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. C.E. McDonald of Creighton, Mo officiating.  Internment was in the Ivy cemetery. Under the direction of Kidwell services.
