Henry C. Darr, formerly of the Brockman Ford
community, passed away at a hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, December___
He and Austin Wolverton, now deceased,
owned a farm together there. Mr. Darr's companion passed
away about 11
years ago. She being Miss Flora Blankenship. About a year after
her
death he and his two sons, Harold and Charles, moved to Kansas City,
Kansas.
Mr. Darr was a good Christian man, honest, upright, a
good neighbor
and citizen and had many good friends in Miller County.
His remains were brought back to Miller County December
28 and were
laid to rest by the side of his companion in the Gott Cemetery in the
afternoon. He leaves to mourn his passing 5 brothers, 3
sisters and
two sons, with a host of relatives and friends in this and Randolph
county.
May God and His blessing ever abide and rest upon all
and may we all
meet again in a better work than this when God calls us hence, is the
