Chipley, John H.
John H. Chipley the son of Jack and Harriet McCart Chipley.  He married Lou Silvey December 10, 1899 and had 9 children, 5 of whom died in infancy.  He was a member of the Baptist Church at White Hall in Cmden county Missoruri.  He is survived by his wife; 3 daughters: Mrs. Marshall Howard of Boonville, Mrs Leroy Stephens of Gravois Mills and Mrs Harold Thomas of Casper Wyoming; one son Vencil Chipley of Gravois Mills; Bob Riggs (raised in the home); 3 sisters: Mrs Mary Baker of Howie Oklahoma, Mrs Annie Purvis of Boonville and Mrs Dolly Brown of Boonville; 20 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren.
   Services were held in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lloyd E. Johnson, assisted by Rev. Norton officiating.  Burial was in the Versilles cemetery under the direction of Kidwell Funeral Home.
