Brown, James V.
    James V. Brown, born June 9, 1872 died March 15, 1917..  Born and reared in Morgan county, married at the Bethany Church.  He had been ill for about a week with the measles and died suddenly.  Survivors: Mrs. Sarah Brown, wife and 4 children: Bessie, Ralph, Viola and Gussie and a brother Jordan Brown and a sister, Mrs. William Webb.  Also half brothers and sisters: Alba Brown, Sam Brown, Mrs. Lee Roland, and Mrs. Nailor.
Services by Rev J.B. Bomar of Versailles with interment in the Ivy cemetery.
