Clark Samuel Bias, 32, of Kansas City, formerly of Versailles, suffered fatal injuries in a one car accident November 16, 1969, when his car reportedly struck a bridge abutment between Cole Camp and Stover.  It was believed that Bias who was enroute to Versailles to go hunting with his brother fell asleep at the wheel of the car.  Mr. Bias was born at Versailles on December 3, 1936, the son of Ralph Emerson and Martha Emma Bias.  He was united in marriage on September 8, 1957, to Miss Dixie Lee Hall, who survives at the home.  He is also survived by two children: Vicki Lynn and Stephen Clark at the home of his mother: Mrs. Martha Bias in Versailles; a brother: Myron Bias of Versailles; 2 sisters: Mrs. Phineas Silvey and Mrs. Boyd Drury of Versailles.  He was preceded in death by his father: Ralph E. Bias on  October 1, 1967.  Mr. Bias was assistant manager of a Firestone Tire shop in Kansas City and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
   Funeral services at the Kidwell Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday November 18.  Reverend Dr. Loren Goings officiating.  Hymns sung by Rev. Edward Winchell-organ by Mrs. Wm. Bauer. Pallbearers were: Roy Holst; Dwain Ritchie, Bill Silvey, Roy Baker, Thaddus Kitsmiller and Leroy Shimpaugh.  Interment in the Versailles cemetery.
