OBIT:
Rosetta Mae Adams, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Adams was born December 9, 1928 near Gravois Mills and lived in that community all of her life. She attended Buck Creek School and graduated from Gravois Mills High School in 1946. She is survived by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Orville Adams; 2 sisters: Anna Faye and Evelyn Lucille; a brother: Orville Wray; her grandparents, Mrs. Polly Carver of Stover and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Adams of Versailles. Burial was at the Silvey cemetery.
FROM NEWSPAPER:
Jewell Tombs, driver, Miss Rosetta Adams and John Clinton Hibdon were fatally injured and Mary Helen Breen is in critical condition in a Boonville Hospital as the result of an auto crash at the Haw Creek Bridge west of Stover, Saturday nite, Oct.2, 1948.
NOTES:
As you enter the cemetery, Rosetta is buried in the far left corner, next to her parents; John Clinton Hibdon is buried in the near right corner, near his parents and brother. Jewell Tombs is buried in the Versailles cemetery.Return to Silvey Cemetery Page
