WILL of GORGE MOUNT, of Middelltowne, "being Sick and weak of bodey." Dated Feb. 16, 1702. Proved by oath of Richard Hartshorne and Jeremiah Stilwill, Esqrs., "two of the evidences," before J. Bafs, Shrewsbury, 31 Aug., 1705, and by Jeremiah Stilwell, one of the wits., who saw the testator and wits., Richard Hartshorne and Joseph Coxe, sign; before Edward, Viscount Cornbury, Shrewsbury, Jan. 25, [?] 1708.

Gives: "unto my loving wife Katherne Mount all my land Housing and salt Medow Dereing her naturall Life"; "unto "my loving wife all my Money and personall estate wheresoever excepting Six Sheepe which I give to my Daughter Katherne "and all so one Cow ... to my Daughter Katherne ... "; "unto my gransonn Mathias Mount & his heires if "he shall live with his granmother Kathern Mount and be helpfull to manage her Affares deuering her naturall life, and "not otherwise, one hundred Acers land, Housing and orchards begining at the newfand [?] or North River and so running "into the woods the whol breadth of my land whereon I now live that will Make one hundred Acers ... to have it "when he attanes the Age of twenty-one yeares and if My Gransonn should Dye before he attanes ... twenty one "yeares ... to my granson Thomas Mount when he shall Attane the Age of twenty one yeares for him ... "and his heires"; "to my Granson Thomas Mount and his heires Sixty five Acers of land when he shall Attane ...
