BLOOMFIELD Eleanor (Coppock) Mount, 86, of Bloomfield, died Friday at Bloomington
Hospital.
Born in Wabash, she was the daughter of James and Lulu (Engleman) Coppock.
She was a graduate of Marion High School and a registered nurse. She was
a charter member of Psi Iota Xi in Bloomfield, Argonot Club, Bloomfield
Order of Eastern Star, Bloomfield American Legion Auxiliary, and Bloomfield
First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter: Luanna Goetz, of Houston, Texas; two sons
Dr. James Mount, of Bedford, and David Mount, of Hanover; one foster daughter:
Evelyn Mullis, of Linton; five grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; 12 foster
grandchildren and five foster greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Dr. Mathias Mount, who practiced
medicine in Bloomfield for over 50 years, and two brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m Wednesday at Bloomfield First United Methodist
Church with the Rev. Ron Lawhead and the Rev Russell Youngblood officiating.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield,
and from 9 a.m. until services Wednesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bloomfield United Methodist Church
or American Heart Association.
