PART 2 - PATEY GENEALOGY

*(D) Emil, (my grandfather) born in Hoboken, 6/2/1858, died 10/16/1932. Married Elizabeth BONSPER (was BUNCHBACK) They lived in Jersey City. Elizabeth was born 8/30/1858, died 3/27/1927.

Four daughters of Emil & Elizabeth. Left to right - Elizabeth Patey Eichler (Aunt Betty), Helen Patey Vreeland (my Mom), Louise Patey Ledwith (Aunt Lou) and Laura Patey (Aunt Laura).

Emil & Elizabeth had 10 children:
(1) Robert Emil, born 5/10/1882, died 7/21/1882

(2) Elizabeth Edwina, born 9/16/1883, died 6/6/1964. Married in 1919 to Franklin EICHLER, who died 3/17/1946. No children.

(3) Emil Achille, born 12/13/1885, died 11/12/1964. Married Katherine HURST WHEELIHAN, who was born 1/30/1885, died 5/2/1973.
They had 6 children plus 2 from Kate's first marriage.
1- Martin (Buster) WHEELIHAN, born 3/8/1904, died 2/19/1974. Married 8/1936 to Marie SPINOLA, born 12/02/1904, died 5/10/2001. No children.
2- Helen WHEELIHAN, born 7/7/1907, died 3/10/1992. Never married.
3- (Emil)Edward, born 4/5/1910, died 10/11/1988. Married Marie Theresa (Mazie) ACKERLEY, born 1/18/1909, died 12/25/1995. They had 2 sons:
Edward, born 6/23/1940, married 9/10/1966 to Kathleen McGEOUGH. They had 2 children, Mark & Gail.
Robert, born 12/1/1945, married 8/12/1967 to Lucy KAMOROWSKI. They had 1 son, Robert Jr. Married again to Theresa DoNOIA. Had daughter, Lauren M.

4- Laura, born 1/27/1913,died 8/18/2007, married 3/20/1936 to Emanuel (Manny) RICCIARDELLI, born 8/29/1912. He died 10/4/1982. No children
5- Catherine, born 3/19/1916, died 1/5/1996. Married 8/1940 to Joseph MOLLUSO, born 2/6/1915. Had daughter, Catherine (Cathy) born 1946, died 3/28/2003. She married 3/4/1967 to Rocco Ronald GIORDANO. had 2 children, Laurie & Ronald.

6- Harold (Pat), born 5/31/1919, died 1/7/1995, married 8/27/1949 to Edith BACCO, born, 7/9/ , died 8/2/2000. They had 2 children, Carl, born 2/6/1953 & Karen, born 5/18/1956.
7-Robert John, born 1/25/1922, married 11/4/1950 to Alice MARUSICH, born 8/15/1928. They had a son, John Robert, born 8/30/1952, who married 11/29/1975 to Debbie McCORMACK. They had 4 children, John Christianm born 1/19/1977, Shannon Lynn, born 1/6/1978, Erin Elizabeth, born 6/16/1981, Katelyn Gene-Francis, born 10/9/1985.
8-Raymond, born 12/21/1926

(4)John Edward, born 3/1/1888, died 4/10/1967, married in 1910 to Margaret COGAN, born 4/4/1898, died 10/18/1984.
John and Margaret had two children:
1-John (Jack) born 6/18/1914, died 2/19/1996. Married 6/2/1945 to Jinny LETTS. She died 6/9/1975. No children.
2-Andrew (Drew) Stevens, born 9/27/1915, died 7/14/2002. Married 9/11/1948, Mary HECKT, born 1/22/1927. They had 6 children: Andrew Jr., born 7/4/1950, married Melanie BORGON; Michael, born 11/8/1951, married Cassandra BROWN; Beth Ann, boern 8/1/1954; Laura, born 3/14/1957; Amy Mara, born 11/1/1962, married Richard HEWITT; Robert, born 8/16/1966.

(6) Laura, born 7/27/1892, died 3/19/1968. Never married. (7) Louise (Lou, Lulu) born 1/16/1896, died 4/16/1987. Married 12/29/1920 to James LEDWITH, born 7/8/1894, died 12/22/1941. No children.

(8) Emma, born 3/18/1899, died 7/1/1899.
(9) Helen Marie, born 4/15/1903, died 12/18/1989. Married Melvin VREELAND, 2/23/1928. Mel died 1/4/1971. They had 3 children: Gertrude, Melvin Jr., and Joan.
