FÖRSTER
Samuel FÖRSTER, his wife Rosa MELZER/MULZER and their four children came to the United States from Germany. They are listed in "Germans to America." The name apparently changed to Foster once they arrived here. Amelia, our relative, is the only one we have been able to trace so far. If you are also related to this family, please contact us - we would like to learn something about Samuel, Rosa and their other three children.
Rosa's name was also thought to be NELSON but perhaps someone misunderstood it when MELZER was pronounced. It would possibly sound like Nelson with a German speaking person saying it.
