James O. Giffis is buried in Sunnyside Cemetery in Long Beach, Ca. His mother, from family stories, died when he was about 5 years old. He had several sisters and a brother that I knew of.

William F. Griffis is buried in Okmulgee Cemetery in the Veterans Circle. I don't have much information on him. When I was 10 my grandparents took my brothers and I on a vacation from California to Oklahoma and we went by the grave site. The tomb stone reads: William F. Griffis ,Died 1952.
