Our family reunion was held June 25, 2000 at the Civic Center in Havana, ND. Only 84 relatives attended this year, but a good time was had by all! Of those attending, 3 were from Kansas, 17 from Minnesota, 2 from Missouri, 46 from North Dakota, 12 from South Dakota, 1 from Wisconsin and 3 from Wyoming.
The day was rainy but we were inside. Once again we had way too much food! No one should have gone away hungry at any rate! We also had lots of attendance and door prizes!
The prize for youngest relative was won by Aaron Blowers, shown here with his mom, Tonya and the hand crocheted baby afghan that he won! Aaron was born January 28, 2000 to Tonya and Nathan Blowers of Minot, ND.
The prize for oldest attendee was won by Matt Parrow of Havana, ND. He receoved a hand crocheted afghan made by niece, Patti (Parrow) Wolff.
The anxiously awaited Barbie doll prizes were won by Tricia Ann Blowers (left) and Darci Parrow (right).
Framed pictures of Odile were won by Ellyn Urie, Charlene Smith and Barb Arcand.
Kenney Parrow of Minneapolis won a framed picture of "Ma and the Boys" (Odile and her sons)
Tanya Howey and Karen Parrow selling tickets! Karen (on right) also was the winner of a hand crocheted rug and a ND flag for attending from the farthest away.
This year we had a quilt raffle to raise money for hall rental, food and other reunion expenses. This went over pretty well and hopefully we can do this again in 2002!
The lucky winner was Vicky Gopp - shown below with her new quilt!
OH MY GOSH! I NEVER WIN ANYTHING!!!
Our OFFICIAL photographer, my dear sister, Patti (Parrow) Wolff, shown her with camera in hand!
