Born Dorothy I. Grove on April 23, 1912 in Bloomfield, Nebraska; died at age 91 on July 23, 2003 in Anaheim, California after 3 1/2 years in a nursing home following 2 strokes.

Dorothy ROTH_SEVELAND is survived by 2 daughters born in Gordon, Nebraska, from her first marriage to Wayne ROTH: Judith Kay ROTH_SIMMONS of San Jose. California and Judy's 3 sons and daughters-in-law and 6 grandchildren; Lana Lee ROTH_TYREE of Garden Grove, California and Lana' s husband Gary , their son and 2 : daughters, daughter-in-law, and 5 grandchildren. Lana lovingly and faithfully cared for her mother the last years of her life.

Dorothy is also survived by 4 stepdaughters from her second marriage to Fay SEVELAND: Barbara SEVELAND of Clifton. Colorado, and Barb' s 7 children, 17 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren; Beverly SEVELAND_McGANNON of Whitney, Nebraska. and Bev's husband Gene and their 4 children, 17 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren; Janice SEVELAND_DesMARTEAU of Golden, Colorado, and Jan's husband Ron and their 3 children, Joyce SEVELAND of Denver, Colorado, and her 3 children.

She was the sister-in-Iaw of the late Edna ROTH and is survived by her nephews Marvin and Dick ROTH and niece Janice FLUECKINGER, all of Gordon, Dorothy also had many other surviving nieces and nephews on both the ROTH and GROVE sides of her family. She was the last member of her generation on both sides.
