This Indenture made this first day of November one thousand and twentyeight. between John P Ireland of the county of Preble and State
of Ohio of the one part, and Laura Harford, Avis Harford, Robert Harford, Celesty Harford, Anson Harford and James S Harford, children and
heirs at law of James Harford late of said county dec. and Hannah Harford widow of James Harford dec. of the other parts Witnesseth that whereas
the said James Harford, now dec, in his lifetime purchased of the said John P Ireland Forty Four acres & one hundred and six rods of land. being
a part of the south east quarter of Section eight in township nine, range one east, in the county of Preble aforesaid and beginning at a stone on
the west side of said quarter section, and running thence north forty four poles & fifteen feet to a stake. Thence East one hundred and fiftyeight
poles, thirteen & half feet to a stone,Thence south forty five poles, one and a half feet to a stake. Thence west one hundred & fifty eight poles
thirteen feet to the beginning. containing the above mentioned quantity of Lands, be the same more or less, for which the said James Harford dec,
in his lifetime made full payment to the said John P Ireland which is hereby acknowledged and confirmed, being the sum of one hundred and twenty
five dollars for and in consideration of which sum, I the said John P Ireland have granted, bargained, conveyed and confirmed, and by these
presents do grant bargain, convey confirm unto the said parties of the second part, heirs at law and widow of the said James Harford dec, and all
and singular the above described Land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging to them and theirs heirs forever. To have & to hold, the said
granted and bargained premises with all the priviliges and appurtenances to the same belonging, or in any wise appertaining to the proper use,
benefit and behoof of the said children, widow and heirs at law of the said James Harford dec and their heirs and assigns. And the said John P
Iereland for himself, his heirs, Executor & Adminestrator. do hereby covenant, promise and grant to and with the said children, widow, & heirs
at law of the said James Harford dec, theur heirs and assigns, that before the ensealing hereof he the said John P Ireland was the true, sole, and lawful owner of the above bargained premises and was lawfully seized and possessed of the same in his own right as a good perfect and absolute Estate of inheirtance in fee simple and has in himself good right, full power & lawful authority to grant, bargain, sell, convey & confirm the said bargained premises in the manner aforesaid, and that the said children, widow& heirs at law of the said James Harford dec. their heirs and assigns shall may from time to time and at all times forever hereafter by foresaid and virtue of these presents, lawfully peacably & quietly have, hold, use, occupy possess and enjoy the said demised and bargained premises with the appuntenances free & clear and freely and clearly aguitted, exonerated and discharged of and from all and all manner of formes or other gifts, grants, sales or incumberances of what name or nature soever that might in any measure of degree obstrict or make void this present deeds.Furthermore the said John P Ireland for himself, his heirs, Excutor & Adminestrators, does covenant and engages the above premises to them the said childrenwidow and heirs at law of the said James Harford dec. their heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of any person or persons whatsoever, forever hereafter to warrant, secure and defends by these presents In testimony whereof the said John P Ireland and Sally his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day & year first above written

Personally apppeared before me the subscriber justice of the
peace for said county, John P Ireland and Sally his wife the within grantors and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within deed of conveyance for the uses and purposes therein expressed. The said Sally Ireland being examined seperate and apart from her husband and the contents of the said being known to her declared that she voluntarily and of her own free will and accord without fear or coercion of her husband did and now doth acknowledge the signing and sealing thereof Given under my hand this first november 1828

This Indenture made the twenty sixth day Febuary in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and thirty one between Hannah Harford Executrix of the Estate of Harford deceased of the county of Preble and State of Ohio of this one part and John Eliason of the aforesaid county and state of the other part Witnesseth that whereas the said James Harford deceased by his last will and testament did insert the following particular, towit, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife all my goods and chattles lands and tenements to be disposed of by her as she may see proper for the maintance support and education of my children I do not wish her to have any of my property sold unless she thinks proper so to do and should she be thuz disposed to sell for her own and my children's benefit and accommodation I wish her to do so at her own pleasure. Now the said Hannah Harford wife of the said James Harford dec, by the power and authority vested in her by the said in part recited will and believing it would tend to the benefit advantage and better accommodation of herself as well also as of the children of the said James Harford dec, doth for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars lawful money to her in hand paid Hath granted bargained sold & conveyed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell & convey unto the said John Eliason and unto his heirs and assigns forever The following discribed tract or parcel of being the same which was owned by the said James Harford dec. and which the above in part recited Will authorizes and empowers the said Hannah Harford to sell. towit, being a part of the South East quarter of Section Eight in Townsship nine of Range one East in the county of Preble & State of Ohio meted & bounded as follows Beginning at a stone on the west side of said quarter Section and running Thence North fourty four poles and fifteen feet to a stake thence East one hundred and fifty eight poles thirteen & a half feet to a stone Thence South forty five poles one foot and one half of a foot to a stake Thence West one hundred and fifty eight poles and thirteen feet to the Beginning containing forty four acres & one hundred & six poles be the same more or less
Together with all and singular the rights privileges hereditaments happurtenduces to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the said John Eliason his heirs and assigns shall and may at all times forever hereafter by force and virtue of these presents lawfully peaceably and quietly enter upon hold use & enjoy the land and premeses hereby conveyed with the appurtenances free & clear & freely & clearly acquitted exonorated and discharged of and from all & all manner of former & other gifts grants sales or incumberances and that the said Hannah Harford will & her heirs executors & administrators shall forever hereafter Warrant Secure and Defend the same unto him the said John Eliason his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims of all persons. And Laura Herriman late Laura Harford Avis Harford Robert Harford and Celesta Harford children and heirs at law of the within named James Harford dec, inconsideration of the premeses within mentioned and believing the sale of the within discribed land will ultimately tend to our benefit and advantage we the said Laura Herriman Avis Harford Robert Harford & Celesta Harford do therefore hereby relinquish all our respective rights which we may have in & to the said land and do release & forever quit claim the said land unto the said John Eliason his heir and assigns forever- In testimoney whereof the said Hannah Harford Laura Herriman Avis Harford Robert Harford & Celesta Harford have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year first above written-

This Indenture made the fifth day of April. one thousand eight hundred and thirty one Between,
Matthew Campbell of the County of Decatur State of Indiana of the one part and Laura Harford
Avis Harford, Robert Harford Celestia Harford Anson Harford, James S. Harford, children, and
heirs at Law of James Harford, deceased and Hannah Harford widow of the said James Harford
deceased of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth that the said party of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars of Lawful money
of the State of Indiana, it there in hand paid by the party of the second part the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have granted , bargained Sold, allined, enfesffed, and confirmed, and by
presents do grant bargain, Sell, alieu, eufeoff, and confirm, unto the said party of the second
part, their heirs and afsigns, forever, all that certain tract or parcel of land. Sititate by and large being,
in the township of Clinton, in the County of Decatur, the State, aforesaid Containing Eighty
Acres, be the same more or less, and, bounded as follows, towit, being the west half of the South
West quarter of Section two, in township eleven, of range nine, in the district of Brookville, and
State of Indiana containing eighty Acres, according to official Plat of the Survey of said Lands,
returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General, which said tract, has been
purchased, by the said Heirs of James Harford deceased, Together with all auds Singular, the
here ditanceuts and appurtenan ses, thereunto belonging. Or in any wise appertaining and the
reversion, and reversing, and remainder and remaindion reritsm Spuses and propeld, thereof, and
all the estate right Title and interest of law or done whatsoever of the said party of the first part
either in law or equity of in and to the above and largaues premises with the said here ditaucents
and appurtenances to have and to hold the said premises above particularly mentioned and
described to the said party of the second part, their heirs and afsifses, forever. And the said
Matthew Campbell and Dorothy, his wife, doth for them selves, their heirs, excutors, and
admisuistrators covenant and grant to and with the said party of the second part, their heirs and
afsipes, that the said party of the first part, are lawfully seized in fee, of the aforesaid granted
premises that they are free from all incumberances, that they have good right to sell and convey
the same, to the said party of the second part: as aforesaid and that he will and his heirs,
executors, and a deuinisotrators, shall warrant and defend, the same to said part es of the second
part, their heirs and apifns, forever against all lawfull demands of all persons. In witnek
whereof, the said Matthew Campbell and Dorothy his wife, have hereunto, set their hands and seals theday and year first above written.

No 493 This Indenture made this thirtieth day of July in the year of our Lord eighteen
hundred and forty seven, between Hannah Harford, John Parkison and Avis his wife, (late Avis
Harford), Anson Harford and Pamelia his wife and James S Harford. The said Hannah being the
widow and the said Avis Celestia Anson and James S. being part of the heirs of James Harford
deceased of the one part and Henry Clark of the county of Rush and State of Indiana of the
second part enterepeth. That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the
sum of eight hundred dollars lawful money of the United States to them in hand well and truly
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these
presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Henry Clark and to his heirs and asigns forever
all the right title interest and claim of said party of the first part, of in and to the following
described tract a parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Decatur and State of
Indiana and known and described as follows count The west Half of the South west quarter of
section number twenty, township number eleven, north of range nine east the said half quarter of
land contains eighty acres more or less and it is intended to convey the widows dower and the
share of John Parkison and Avis his wife who owns the interest of Robert Harford and said heirs,
and the whole of said tract of land is now intended to be conveyed to said Clark excepting the
share of Moses Herriman and Laura his wife To have and to hold the tract of land above
described to the party of the second part and his heirs and asigns and to their only proper use
benefit and behalf forever and further the said party of the first part do covenant to and with the
said party of the second part, and his heirs that they are the true and lawful owners of the
premises aforesaid and have got to right full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the
same in manner and form aforesaid and that they will ward out and defend the premises
aforesaid with the appurtenances unto the party of the second part and to his heirs against the
claims of the said party of the first part, or against the claim of claims of any and all persons
whomsoever, In witness whereof the said party of the fist part have hereunto set their hands and
seals on the day and year first above written.
