Last Will and Testament of David Robison
Be it know the eighteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and seven--I David Robison. Farmer of Elizabeth
township, Allegheny County and state of Pennsylvania being of perfect mind
a memory + calling to remembrance the mortality of the body, do make and
ordain this my Last Will + Testament. I give + recommend my Soul
into the hands of God, who gave it and I recommend my Body to the earth,
to be buried at the discretion of my Executors. Touching such worldly
goods wherewith it hath pleased God to blefs me~I give, dispose and order
the same in the manner and form following. First, I will that all
these debts and dues, I owe in right and conscience, shall be will and
truly + ordained to be paid, by my Executors within convenient time I give
+ bequeath to Helen my dearly beloved wife, the whole of my Kitchen and
household furniture two milch Cows forty Dollars in cash. The amount
of tow notes due to me from Samuel Bailey, about thirty seven Dollars-Together
with the whole of my books--I also bequeath to her full privilege of the
house wherein I now reside, or if she may prefer it competency of soon
in the dwelling house now occupied by my son John Robison, and ineit her
of said cases she is to be found at his expenses all that may be necefsary
to render her life comfortable-But provided she may at any time prefer
to live elsewhere then from said time, my son John is to feay to her in
lieu of said privileges, whatsoever sum or sums may appear tight Executors,
said sum or sums to be paid by him annually I give and bequeath to my son
John Robison the whole of my real estate here + elsewhere He being subject
to pay all my lawful debts being Subject as above to my Wife, and also
to my daughters, what in the subsequent part of this my last Will + Testament
is to then bequeathed--I give to my Daughter Mary Widow of John Drennen
the sum of fifty Dollars, to be paid in one year from my decease--I give
to my Daughter Elizabeth wife of Hugh Wilson the sum of fifty Dollars to
be paid in one year from my decease--I give and bequeath to my Daughter
Isabel, Wife of Joseph Reynolds, the sum of two hundred Dollars to be paid
in one year from my decease--I give + bequeath to my Daughter Helen, Wife
of John Crawford, the sum of two Dollars to be paid in one year from my
decease.--I give + bequeath to my Mary, Elizabeth, John, David and Isabel,
Children of my Daughter Helen Crawford the sum of two hundred Dollars,
said money to be divided equally among said children, the females to receive
their proportional parts as they may severally arrive at the age of eighteen
years, and the males as they may arive at the age of twenty one years--I
also order that the interest of said money shall be paid yearly to my Daughter
Helen Crawford from the time of my decease, and be by her appropriated
for the benefit of said children--I do like wise constitute and ordain
the Rev Matthew Henderson and David Drennen the true and lawful Executors
of this my last Will and Testament--and I do hereby disallow, disanull
sutterly revoke all and every other testaments, legacies and executors,
by me in any ways before this time named, Willed bequeathed ratifying +confirming
this and none other to be my last Will + Testament--
In Witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand + Seal the day + year
above written

On the 12 day of January AD 1808 Came Robert Curry
and William Roseburgh two of the Subscribing Witnefses
to the above last Will + Testament and being
duly Sworn according to Law did depose and say that
they were present and did see David Robison the Tes
tator above named Sign publish pronounce + Declare
the same to be his Last Will + Testament and that he
was of sound mind + memory at the time of so doing
to the best of their Knowledge. Witnefs my hand the day
+ year aforesaid
