Will of Amelia Tuttle
Carmichaels Greene Co Penna November 25 1887 The last will and testament of Amelia Tuttle: All to whom it may concern know that I herein make my last will and testament and declare any other instrument that purports to be such null and void and without any consent. First I bequeath to my son Washington Tuttle all of my real estate situated one mile from the Town of Carmichaels on the Waynesburg Road and adjoining land with Ellis Bailey his natural lifetime for his maintainance while he lives said house or lands not to be sold by Washington Tuttle or any part of it but only to be used by him while he lives also of any household effects one picture called the Crusifix with all of the other framed pictures and one stand that sits in the back room and any such other household property as may not herein after be specified. After the death of my son Washington Tuttle I make the following division of my Real Estate and my personal elects. First my daughter Evaline Kanan is to be paid the sum of $25.00 in money out of the proceeds of the Estate after which an equal division of all the proceeds of my estate between all of my children their heirs or assigns. Except John Tuttle the son of James Tuttle now deceased. The said John Tuttle is not to have any part of my estate but the other children of my son James Tuttle are to be equal in one share of the estate as follows The heirs of James Tuttle except his son John To have one share, Sallie Harter, one share, Louvina, one share, [Lavina had married Stephen Kinnan's brother James, who by this time had died by drowning.] Evaline Kanan one share Of any personal effects my daughter Evaline Kanan is to have my corner cubbord that stands in the frount room also my tea canister and glass spoon holder these articles to be given to Evaline Kanan at my death, also the largest trunk at my house AmeliaXTuttle Attest G. W. Crow, Nellie Crow As to the date of death see affidavitt of S. R.
