No. 1171 Will of Amos tuttle Dec'd In the name of God Amen I Amos Tuttle of Center Township in the County of Greene and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being of perfect mind and memory and well knowing that I shall one day die do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First I give and recommend my soul to god who give it and my body to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executor nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mightly power of God and as for such wordly goods as God has blest me with in this life I give and bequeath them in manner following -- And first after the payment of my Just debts and funeral expenses be paid and satisfied I give to my wife Betsey Tuttle my widow my whole estate both real and personal the two hundred acres of land and the allowance with all the privaledges such as timber, wood and stone and all rents on cleared land and the fruit of apples and peaches with the Sugar Camp and the profits thereof meadows and so forth I say I give it unto my wife while she remains my widow and she is not to give nor part with any thing to any of the children more than I shall name but while she remains my widow she must enjoy her living on the place with all the privaleges heretofore mentioned and after her death I will and bequeath unto Amos Tuttle, Jr, my oldest sone one Dollar after one year of my decease and no more and if he never comes back Sally his daughter is to have a heifer that will make a cow also I give John Tuttle twenty acres of land on the east end of the place joining Moses Johnson also I give Bela Tuttle twenty acres of land Joining James Scott also I give Ephraim Tuttle twenty acres of land on the east side of the road including that lot and cabin that Moses Dunn cleared also I give unto Joshua Tuttle one Dollar to be paid at the end of one year after my death. I also give Thomas Tuttle twenty acres of land East of Ephraims towards the east corner. I also give unto Harvey Tuttle son of Samuel Tuttle ten Dollars to be paid in Cattle when he shall come of age. I also give John T. Dilley ten Dollars to be paid in stock. And I also reserve my Dwelling house with all the privaleges whatever unto my widow and after her death then my son Jesse L. Tuttle is to have the Plantation with all the rights and privaleges with the exception of those pieces of land that I have give to John and Bela and Ephraim and Thomas and I do appoint Enos Hook and Samuel Clevinger to be my Executors of this my last will and testiment hereby revoking and making null and void all former wills and testiments by me made declaring this and this only to be my last will and testiment.
