Old De Leon Cemetery, De Leon, Comanche Co., Texas, is
located on the east side
of town, a quarter mile south of Hwy. 6, behind the fairgrounds. A green sign on
Hwy. 6 points out the turnoff. There are approximately 70 graves marked by
fieldstones, piles of rock, depressions, or illegible markers. Many of the
remaining stones are very difficult to read. This cemetery is fenced, mowed,
